so-soThis book wasn't terrible but it was super repetitive and the dialog felt really forced. I don't usually read movie adaptations so I'm not sure what I was expecting. It got really bogged down in the middle with descriptions of creatures and I skimmed a lot towards the end. Might as well rent the movie.
I loved this scene in the film too. While people have a great capacity to do wonderful things, there's a little ugly in all of us and I'm not innocent of that either.

There's filming going on at the museum today, the employee lot was full so I had to trek to the visitor's lot and it looks now like they might be filming outside the house but that may impact tours today. Never a dull moment in Hollywood East! No, I didn't come up with that, the town officials did... HAHA

pickDespite the description of Harley as beat-up beautiful, I loved this book. So much Deadshot, well written, and fun. Tons more character development than in the movie.
When you're so close to finishing and perversely decide to read something else... Because your brain demands comics.

Beat-up beautiful. This is one of the reasons the misogyny in comic book culture makes it awkward to be a woman and comic book fan.

Far superior to the movie. Proving books>movies even when they started out as movies.
Has scenes that were cut out or changed in the movie. Loving it so far.
