This was a fun, little bit silly historical fantasy romance.The eccentric Mr Steepe chooses Charlotte as his bride based on her choice of tea, not realizing that she is only a baker's daughter. She decides to hide her identity as she gets to know him, all the while investigating his meddling cousin and his shady business practices. The magic system was interesting & the characters appealing (despite strange life choices).Overall a quirky good time

Here are my June #Roll100 picks for the month
Stargazer I've had for ages, probably acquired during my Twilight obsession. But upon pulling it down from the shelf I realized it is the second in a series and since YA vampire stories aren't really my thing anymore, this one is going to the donate bin!
I'm looking forward to reading the tagged. Historical fantasy romance is much more my wheelhouse these days 🫖

This is a fun book, a light romance with hints of magic and lots of tea but it is not super well written.
Charlotte is a baker who wants to publish her murder story, and when a magic tea pot connects her with a man who might be perfect, Charlotte has to decide what she wants and who she wants to be.
2.5/5 stars read for a light, kissing only, romance with hits of magic and some intrigue. Some weak writing, but a fun story.
