It was good, a little overloaded between the plot & the magic system (a few things seemed convoluted). The characters were relatable & the metaphor to real world prejudice & atrocities came across well.

YA urban fantasy. Humans & Witchers live together. Power struggle.
Venus is an illegal brewer of love potions. Janus is her spunky headstrong sister.
The magic & world are interesting, the bad guys are identified & a mystery is at the heart of it. Who killed their mom!
Venus has 1 job to do, protect her sister & kill whoever killed her mon & make potions for politicians. She‘s got a lot on her plate.
Funny, cute & a lot of fun!

I debated between a pick and so-so. For me it was more of a so-so, but I could see others absolutely loving it. I just thought the first half was so slow and there were a couple times I considered DNFing. I am glad I didn‘t, the ending was good.
Listening to this audiobook and putting together these cute Lego flowers I picked up at Costco.

This title is in my #Scarathlon TBR though I don‘t know that I‘ll get to it this month. The MC hustles illegal love potions to support her family. Fits today‘s #PotionMagic theme. ✨
