I was feeling creative and productive today so I made these potato pies for the first time in a long while. Got a few books going at the moment, and am enjoying them all.

Lreads Those look so good! 6y
Texreader What is a potato pie? I‘ve never heard of it and I am intrigued 6y
Mdargusch I‘m intrigued too! That sounds delicious! 🤤 6y

DocBrown @Texreader @Mdargusch It‘s really a simple recipe, with potatoes, cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, and sour cream. I don‘t know how Littens interact offline but I‘d be happy to send the recipe if we could figure out how to do so. 6y
Texreader @mdhughes72 Sounds awesome and I couldn‘t find it on the internet. Would you email it to me at kamonsen at aol.com? Thanks!! 6y
Nute I‘ve never head of potatoe pie before. Is it eaten as a side with an entree? 5y

My final post for #MarchMunchies Day 31 #TaterTots 😋. Here in Australia they‘re called Potato Gems. I usually have a pack in my freezer as they are so versatile, especially with hubs and 3 boys eating me out of house and home.

My favourite way to have them is to bake fish fillets (wrapped in baking paper with lemon, broccolini, tomato & other seasonings). Serve the fish over the potato gems & they mop up all those delicious juices 🍽😋🤗👍.

MrsMalaprop Thanks for organising this challenge @jenniferw88. I had a lot of fun trying to pair my two loves: books & food👏. And I managed to post for each & every day 😊. 7y
MrBook 😳 *blink blink* Whhoooooaaaa! 😱 7y
ReadingSusan Oh my goodness potato gems is sooo much more interesting than tater tots. I will be using that from now on 😁 7y

Happy Thanksgiving, Litsy-friends. Hopefully you have a restful day full of great food with people who won't stress you out too much. And if they do, there's always more mershed perderders.
