Just learned about this one today. 🏳️🌈
And with Silhouette of a Sparrow filling my Set In 1920s square, I am done before November starts! #litsyreadingchallenge #lrc2018
Book list in comments.
Now I have four categories to go in #aussiesrule2018, and they won't be nearly as difficult as the war and true crime categories here!
The language and description in this book is beautiful!
"I looked over at Isabella - those perfect lips, that short hair starting to dry with little tufts sticking up at funny angles, those boyish clothes all rumpled and soaked. I wanted to tell her secrets I hadn't even told myself yet."
I really enjoyed this short, quiet book about the coming of age of a bird-loving (and girl-loving) girl in the 1920s. It made me want to spend a summer in a lake town - working in a shop, watching birds and flirting with pretty girls. ❤
Not sure if this really counts as an #alliterativetitle since there are some non-S words in the middle, but it was one of my favorite books from all of last year, so I thought it was close enough... #marchintoreading
Some great #queerbooks mail today! Queer historical fiction - one of my fave genres! The Griffin is for #queer52 and Wildthorn may be one of my substitutes for an already read book on that list. 🌈
A sweet little f/f romance, unfortunately the writing was all matter of fact and far too much telling was done instead of showing.
