Firefly meets The Breakfast Club in this snarky, new adult romance. The sun is dying...and its happening way too damn fast. With the clock ticking, the Nine Planets only hope of survival rests on a fancy space station and the alien artifact its carrying. Which is why it really sucks when some jackass doesnt want the universe saved and blows that station upwhile youre still on it. So if your only choices are flaming death or stealing a flying hunk of space junkyou pick that busted-ass spaceship. Even if it leaves seven strangers with deadly secrets trapped together: a princess, a prisoner, a con artist, a warrior, a priestess, a mercenary, and an asshole in charge of us all. Now every faction in the galaxy is hunting this shipfrom the Sisterhood to the Corporation, and the rebellions joining in on the fun, too. We just need to stop drinking, fighting, and screwing long enough to evade them all and save the freaking universe...somehow. Because apparently the only thing standing between a dying sun and ultimate salvation is seven unlikely misfits...ahem, heroes.

Book 58 of 2023! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There had better be a second book, though, because I didn‘t read 600 pages for it to end in a cliffhanger!

peanutnine Lol I know right? Such a good one too!! 12mo

Okay. Everyone seems to like this so I‘ll stick with it. I‘m halfway through and I‘m a little bored. Since it was described as Firefly meets Breakfast Club, I was expecting a lot more adventure. It‘s heavy on romantic relationships which are sometimes a little tedious.

If you don't like character-driven stories, this one is not for you. Not much happens plot-wise until the end and then it ends on a cliffhanger 😱 But I personally loved the characters and the growth they experienced & community they built together. A ragtag group of misfits stuck on an alien ship that they don't quite understand and everyone out to get them. The world building was great and I'm ready to jump back in whenever book 2 is written...

I‘m not a big fan of fantasy but I did enjoy this one. It was a slow read for me probably just because I don‘t read fantasy so it took me a few weeks to read it. I would be interested in finding out what happens next so I hope there will be another book. I definitely plan on reading the Crave series by Tracy Wolff because I liked this one.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I think the pacing was off at times (the ending particularly felt incredibly rushed), but I like the characters, and I definitely want to see what happens in book 2 with the way this one ended.

For fans of the Aurora Cycle or the Lunar Chronicles, this is an action packed new series from the author of the "Crave" series, Tracy Wolff, and author Nina Croft. Fun and sexy romances, wisecracking heroes, and a lot of charm from 7 different characters that you will fall in love with. Add to this a good amount of spice and some fun sci-fi tropes, I think you will find this found family a delightful new series to read.

Oooh boy did I love this new space fantasy from an author I love. A sun is dying in a solar system and a band of misfits including the princess of the empire are forced together during an escape. They are trying to save their friends and the entire solar system all while dealing with their pasts and the secrets that are revealed. 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

KateReadsYA I picked this up and then put it back when book shopping and I regret it now haha! 1y

So I was rather surprised by how much I liked this one. It's a #chunkster but it's got a great deal of world-building and character-building and this made it a good read

Meshell1313 Ooh I can‘t wait for this to come out next week!!! 1y
