This Beating Heart | 
pickFirst five ⭐️ read this year! This was so lovely. I love Laura Barnett‘s writing; the gently rhythms of a quietly told story. Very much about grief and loss, but also about navigating out of that; new beginnings and new friendships. This was almost perfection, and yes there was crying.
