Starting this series today.
This book was just okay. It‘s called a thriller, but I was not thrilled. There were a couple of twists I didn‘t see coming that were interesting, but the rest of the book was just meh. This is the first in a two-book series so I hope the second book is a lot better. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

I seem to be an outlier...but this was a little different from this author‘s usual. I wish I could say that I was there for it, especially since I loved The Night Olivia Fell and Do No Harm, but I was kind of thrown off when the ghost popped up on the scene, and the twist somehow didn‘t sit right with me, either.
“Two women struggle toward a dark truth as a killer avenges the sins of the past in a twisting novel of suspense by the USA Today bestselling author of Do No Harm, Behind Every Lie, and The Night Olivia Fell.”
A good mystery with so many parts! I figured out Neve‘s piece and I slowly knew who the killer was. I enjoyed this twisty thriller and couldn‘t put it down. I loved the paranormal piece and how it was woven in! Book #70 in 2023
Christina McDonald is one of my favorite mystery/thriller writers. Her books always hold my attention to the very end. This one was possibly my favorite. It has some things that I would not have thought would be in it. Things that made it an outstanding story.

THRILLER - MYSTERY
What secret have Neve and Bee been keeping since childhood?
Lots of secrets kept present and past.
The book includes some paranormal and has a wild ending.
It is a little confusing, but don‘t give up.
If you like not knowing who did what and when they did it, this book is for you. 4/5
