I was not expecting all of the emotions and family histories. It was so good. This is a story where a “Five years later…” would have been perfect. It definitely left me wanting another book to check in with all of these wonderful characters.

I was not expecting this YA to be so emotional. I actually cried many times during it which is rare for me. The grief that was woven throughout the story was done well, and it did have a large part to play in the story. I really thought this book was amazing. There was so many things I liked about it, I just wish it had been longer. Maybe we will see another book with the characters. I look forward to what else will come from this author.
