pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️finishing this wonderful series and this author knows how to stick the landing! Although heartbreaking ❤️🩹 it is a great tale of sea life in a world with complicated characters, swashbuckler adventure, cruelty, loyalty and love.

pickNothing like starting your reading day crying.😭 I held off reading this one as long as I could because reading it meant finishing, start to finish, one of the most wildly original, inventive fantasies I have read in a long time. In a world where brutality & cruelty are more common than kindness a ship & its crew, more familiar with that than most, holds the key to finding a new way forward. A fantastic series reaches an inevitable perfect ending.
pickSo good. I read it slowly to savor the end of this series. What a series. That world building- supreme. The character development- relatable. The ability to make being on a ship on the water for 3/4 of a book constantly interesting- perfection. And this finale had a great ending, giving hope without providing a fairytale ending. Seriously, if you haven‘t read this series yet, you‘re missing out. 10/10
