It‘s written quite simply and it‘s short, so it is a fast read; I believe it is meant as YA. There were even some photographs of Hannah‘s (that she managed to hold on to through and after the war) that included Hannah, her family, and photos with Anne. There wasn‘t as much about Anne, specifically as I‘d hoped, but that‘s ok. What was there was interesting, as well as learning about Hannah and her family‘s experiences

Mon amie Anne Frank is a book about two friends
living in Nazi Germany. One day when Hannah goes to
visit her friend Anne, she finds that no one is there.
Hannah comes to the conclusion that Anna's family
must have left for Switzerland. If you like books that are in French or about friendship and hardships you‘ll like this one. This story is told I‘m third person omniscient point of view. The author uses pronouns such as she, they.

MissYaremcio Thank you for the review Lizzie! Anne Frank is one of my passions and so I'm very intrigued as I haven't seen this novel before! 6/6 3y

Because @TheFunkyBookworm posted about the English edition I researched my libraries for it. I couldn‘t find it nowhere, so I looked on “Tauschticket”. I‘m a bit tempted. Bookmarked it. Might hinge it on how her thoughts are …

TheFunkyBookworm I‘ll be sure to let you know what I think!! 6y

These are the reflections of Anne‘s childhood friend who grew up next door to the Frank family. After the family went into hiding, she met up with her again later on in the concentration camp.
I‘m def adding this one to my TBR!
