A little #bookmail today! I‘ll be reading tagged graphic novel with my IRL book club next month. I‘ll link an article in the comments below where you can see some of the illustrations and read more about it. And really enjoyed Clarke‘s previous (Girl, 11) so excited to try her newest thriller.
Well this was delightful! This was my sort of bookclubs pick for this month - and I read it in one sitting!
Wasn‘t expecting to fly through the life story of a (fictional) female artist - from lost housewife to finding gradual fulfilment and recognition as an artist - reflecting on what was and is - and how certain people completely changed the course of her life.
Absolutely glorious, in mostly black and white with the odd dash of colour.
