I started a new detective series. In this one the main character is DCI Matilda Darke and she‘s a great person, well worked out by Michael Wood. Also I enjoyed the plot a lot, even though I saw some of it coming. I am definitely going to read the second book!

It‘s 21 days into the new year and I‘ve already started 2 new detective series!
I really enjoyed this one and although I did have an inkling about the killer- I enjoyed the getting there. Will definitely continue with this series.

A terrific first book in a new series for me. Matilda is a bit of a grieving mess, but she‘s got wonderful loved ones and a good team overall. And the mystery is *really* good. A cold case that comes to life. No I did not see the end coming. Highly recommended. And it was my #doublespin! @TheAromaofBooks

Started a new series last night, and it immediately sucked me in. That feeling when you get in bed with a new book to read and you love it? So good.

It‘s my #BookSpin too!

Leaves and weather update: the snow is gone, some leaves are *still* hanging on, and Mark may have to wait until Spring to clear up the leaves in middle of the yard. The top and bottom are done, but the warm Fall put the process back. And now it‘s cold. 🤷🏻‍♀️

An interesting start of a new series for me. One twist I kind of figured out about halfway through but it didn‘t seem to keep me from wanting to finish. It was good! I‘ll definitely be continuing with the series. 😀🌟🌟🌟🌟 3.5 rounded up to 4! Thank you @robinb for gifting me this book! 💕
