I liked the first book despite quite a few issues. Sadly though, the problematic issues increased in annoyance ten-fold. Especially the narration; Jesse Vilinsky is not a favorite of mine at all…and this story had her raising her high-pitched alarming tone way too often for me. I‘m not even sure why I kept listening…I think it was the fact that I‘ve already DNF‘d 5 books just this month and I didn‘t want to add another, I mean it seems excessive.

4.5 ⭐ Book 2 picks up within hours of book one ending. Signal and Erik are on the run trying to not only live life but prove that signal is not a killer. Prove that the Wylie Stanton is flawed and shouldn‘t be used against kids and teens, or even adults, to prove who does or does not have the ability to kill people. This book does have the standard teen love tropes, but set in a serial killer‘s world put a very different spin on things. ⬇

LibrarianRyan The story also gets more complicated. We finally get information about why Erik‘s kill number is so high, who he really is, and how his family plays into not only the camp, but the Wylie Stanton itself. This book is a family drama, and this is one time where I can say, the second book is honestly better than the first. It has a Manchurian candidate vibe towards the middle, that in the end just makes the story more in-depth and more edge of your 2y
LibrarianRyan seat. Honestly, the worst part about this book is that it doesn‘t end. You have a cliffhanger and the fact that I‘m going to have to wait a year for a third book is killer. Book 3 needs to get here sooner! I must know that there was a happily ever after somewhere along here. I have to know that our society can and will do better. I love this book, I tell everybody they have to read at least the first book and I‘m going to tell them they have to 2y
LibrarianRyan read the first book so they can read the second book! So check out the series add it to your TBR, and buy the book so the author can write the third one. 2y

This was such a good sequel to 'Teen Killers Club'! I absolutely loved the plot continuation and how the story broadens out. The fleeing from the cops and criminally things were so enjoyable as they aren't in books much. I loved the romance, though I wasn't keen on the constant push and pull. Erik was my favourite from book 1, so I'm happy with the direction. I loved the pacing and the plot twists, the interactions with the characters too!

This book is the 2nd in the series but I read it without reading the first.

Jumping straight in at the action was very exciting. Signal is on the run with Eric and out to clear her name. There is a touch of romance but Eric is a serial killer which would make anyone put there guard up.

It was a fun read.

I got an ARC from Net Galley and this is my honest review.

I had a huge issue with this book - I stayed up way too late reading it because I couldn't put it down!!! The plot, the characters, and the dialogue all conspired together against me in a deadly combination of addictive text. I was held hostage from the first page to the last. Don't just fear the Teen Killers - the whole thing slayed! Everything I loved about the first book reappeared in this installment, and I want some more!!!
