While the idea of this is "legal" I find myself a bit creeped by it. Erin (40ish) is visiting her daughter at college, she sleeps with a woman she meets at a bar (who is 21) and then finds out Cassie is her daughter's new best friend. We then see how the two "cannot help themselves" when near each other.
As a 40ish person who just moved my younger brother's daughter to her college town I feel this story and felt too uncomfortable to cont.

Gah, this book was SO FRIGGIN GOOD! And to think I almost passed on reading it because I wasn't a big fan of Wilsner's last book because I thought the burn was too slow. DEFINITELY not the case here, shew! 🔥

Sapphic, age gap romance, where a woman has a one night stand only to discover the next day that it was her daughter's good friend. And while they *know* it's complicated, the sparks don't stop flying and suddenly one night isn't enough💥

#Loveathon was such a blast, and I can‘t wait to do it again next February! I managed to finish 101 books/graphic novels this month, but I still have loads of romance left on my phone, so I‘m all set for next year. 😂

I‘m missing about 30 books from this collage, but here are all the ones that were originally on my TBR. I‘m pretty proud that 70% of what I read was preplanned. I‘m getting better at sticking to a TBR 🫣

Fun palate cleanser. Not my usual style, but I liked this. It entertained me while asking nothing from me, brought a bit of narrative tension but ultimately a good vibes only story just when I think I needed one.

Oh, this was fun. Cassie and Erin stayed ignorant of their feelings very slightly longer than I personally prefer, but I loved their not-dating ways and how they made each other better. And I didn't expect some of the twists with Parker! #romcom #contemporaryromance

Delightful and sinfully sexy! It's a romance between a 38-year-old, Erin, and a 22-year-old college senior Cassie ... who is good friends with Erin's 18-year-old kid. It's as sweet as it is dirty, very light and fun, an "idiots to lovers" story where they don't realize how much they like each other. I was pleasantly surprised at how Wilsner handled the reveal with the kid/best friend. It was tense waiting to see how and when she would find out!
