This is my first Edwin Hill book…I‘d honestly never heard of him. I really enjoyed this one, so it‘s definitely not my last. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are almost too many threads and twists in this thriller, but the author leads us through with interesting and well defined characters and plot lines. Two sisters have almost nothing in common as adults, as were kids they and their next door neighbors experienced a terrible tragedy. Now, those secrets are linked to new crimes and their families are at risk.
I grabbed this on a whim off my library‘s new book shelf, and I‘m glad I did.
Edwin Hill delivers another page-turner. While I figured out a couple of the twists early on, there were others that I did not see. I really enjoyed the setup of the novel. Mainly taking place in the present, there are little glimpses into the past, and I liked the mirroring that occurred between the events within the two timelines. The characters really pulled me into the novel; I wanted to know who did what and how they would fare in the end.
