Sometime the answers to your questions pop up right at the gift store. A remarkably interesting book about the darker side of one of the seven natural wonders.

I finally finished this book! I started reading it after visiting the Grand Canyon a while ago and got stuck for a long time where I just didn‘t want to pick it up. I made it a goal to finish my in progress books this year and finally finished the last 25% of this book in the past week. Whew!
So Good! The authors are sarcastic af, which makes it even better.
Fascinating read! The Killer Colorado chapter put me off whitewater rafting forever. The chapters about murder and suicide are coming up-like a train wreck , I can't look away!
a few to finish and a few to start for the #24in48 #readathon this weekend. here's to the perfect weekend! also, so glad I started "Over the Edge: Death in the Grand Canyon" AFTER I left the canyon. fascinating and detailed, but also a reminder that nature is unforgiving. // #books #read #tbr #vacationfromvacation
Remembered this intensely interesting book about "fatal mishaps" in the Grand Canyon when organizing old photos & ran across this one of my girls pretending to fall over the edge?
