Wonderful essays on creativity. I love Wood‘s curiosity & quest to learn. She has done serious research & combines it with her own, & writer/artist friends‘, experience. Like her fiction it‘s clear & easy to read but also erudite & thought-provoking. New insights, both high level such as how work is made & the need for art to ‘disturb‘, & practical (tidiness, walking). Wood is generous with her knowledge and humble. Inspiring & a great read.
