Tricky #wondrouswednesday @Eggs

1) spoiled ending, better than an eternal cliffhanger

2) favourite character - I have the feeling I know them better than the author

3) both! - if I have to choose, the mystery novel. I love puzzles.

4) both! - but I'd probably choose SF, I could go to space, meet aliens, see different planets

5) depends on the series, but in most cases you can catch up if you missed the first book. See answer 1, except for⬇️

julesG Sookie Stackhouse. That last book was not necessary and ruined far more than it answered. 4mo
Eggs Thanks for the thoughtful responses 🦋 4mo
SilversReviews 1. I definitely would prefer a spoiled ending. 2. Meet a favorite character. 3. Be trapped inside a mystery - just not a murder mystery. 4. Definitely not a science fiction book, but in a book that has “nice” history. 😃 5. I don‘t read series books, but probably miss the first one 4mo

#WondrousWednesday

1) sleeping in, long breakfast, audiowalk, reading, napping, a log fire, tea and cake

2) doubting myself, it's annoying and takes up a lot of energy

3) standing up for myself a bit more, I tend to put other people first

Very interesting questions today, @Eggs

Eggs 2 and 3 Yep!!! Thanks for playing 🔥 13mo

Thanks for the #wondrouswednesday tag, @Eggs

1) You mean apart from Sherlock, Mycroft and Revelstoke, and all those YA distorted regular names? Unusual and a bit weird: Thursday Next.

2) Definitely Chuck Tingle book titles like: Pounded by the Pound: Turned Gay by the Socioeconomic Implications of Britain Leaving the European Union

Thanks for the tag @thegirlwiththelibrarybag

1) I'm a mood reader.

2) roughly it's: Was it entertaining enough to make me overlook whatever flaws it might have? = 5/5 Did I bail? = 1/5

3) today I'm grateful for the new allergy meds my ENT prescribed this morning. My nose hasn't been happy the past weeks.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag New allergy meds ftw! 2y

Thanks for the tag, @julieclair

1) I like both.

2) Regularly, English is my second language. I read in German. I've read books in French and several other languages with more or less success.

3) Both. I usually pick according to my mood, but from a very long list.

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs

Amiable I so admire people who know more than one language. I wish American schools did a better job of teaching foreign (by that I mean other than English) languages at an early age. It‘s so much harder to try to pick up additional languages when you are older. 3y

Thanks for the #WondrousWednesday tag, @Eggs.

1) not any more. I used to get the FairyLoot box and ordered a few OwlCrate boxes.

2) Pinterest sometimes, IG a lot

3) my eyes, being able to see and only being a bit short-sighted & audiobooks [eye exam this morning, couldn't read properly because my pupils had to be enlarged]

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs

1) sticking to a yoga routine for a year - I'm more bendy
3) went to a neighbouring town for some sightseeing on Monday and
2) I'll never forget how little my kids know about local/German/European history. They know how long the 30-years war lasted, but nothing else. We were standing in front of the building where history happened and they were looking for food 🤦🏻‍♀️
