So many of these movies are on my To-Watch list, but I did better than I expected.

There are the three I've seen that shook my core. Not necessarily the best or my favorite, but the most memorable:

The Father - A mind-blowing, soul-crushing portrayal of dementia
The Tree of Life - More than a few walked out of the screening I was in. I don't know if I liked it, but it was art
The Substance - Not for the squeamish, but brilliant

2020 was such a weird time, and there are several flicks that were delayed I can't wait to see, but I'm also trying to catch up on ones that were released that I missed. Waiting for Minari to come in through the library, but I'm going to need some time anyway to process The Father. Holy crap, what an amazing film in every aspect. Florian Zeller obviously had a clear vision and surrounded himself with exactly the right people to see it through.

TieDyeDude Anyone happen to see the American stage production with Frank Langella? I can only imagine!... 4y
