This sounded like it could possibly be a decent fantasy/detective story hybrid, and I gave it a chance — it was only 1 pound after all! But within 50 pages, a single thought started flashing in my mind: "WTF is this???"? The writing is just abysmal — pretentious, tons of unnecessary details, major cringe quite early on. Though part of me is temped to hate-read this and post the dumbest parts so you can share my misery ?

AnnaDesourdy I love a good hate read series of posts!!! I have a suggestion if this one is just too much. I'd do it myself but I actually know the author 🙄 been trying to pawn off her tripe for a while now 😂 8y
