Loved this one, loved the different aspect and loved how the characters were flushed out
Day 3: Finished 1 kindle book, 1 audiobook
Loved Wendy, Darling by A. C. Wise❣️
Felt lukewarm about Emma, by Jane Austen; though I loved narration by Emma Thompson and JoAnn Froggat.

The next pick from the book jar and kids help. As much as I love Peter Pan novels I've been hesitant with this one but the jar has chosen so here we go lol. Happy reading and weekend everyone 📖❤📚 #peterpan #neverland #london #magic #YA #childrens
My reading for #SubjectiveChaosKindOfAwards chugs onward! Diving into this today… #fantasy #SCKA
Fascinating and beautifully written look at Peter Pan from Wendy‘s POV - her POV as a grown up. Lots to unpack here…mental illness and the stigma that goes with it, PTSD, feminism, sexuality, racism…these all briefly make an appearance. The main theme is, true to Peter Pan, about growing up and believing in yourself and finding what gives you strength. I thought this was really thought provoking and had some lovely prose. Some horrifying elements.
Thanking @SpaceCowboyBooks for this buy. Am looking forward to this read for sure. Got to love Peter Pan books. Happy reading everyone 📖❤📚 #peterpan #neverland #wendydarling #secondstar #adventure #lostboys
Thank you, #netgalley, for the ARC of #WendyDarling!
This story is absolutely perfect! It takes the main element of Peter Pan that I always found bothersome and exposed it for the nightmare it is. Told between 1904 Neverland, 1917-1920 London, and “present day“ (1931) London and Neverland, Wendy, Darling tells the story of Wendy and her family and the repercussions of her initial Neverland visit, her memories, and her brothers' lack of memories.
Loving this so far!
A psychological take on a grown up Wendy and her grapplings with Peter Pan. Interesting take on racism. No Tinkerbell.
