23 #42 I liked this book. Ivy‘s story was kinda boring and it was all kinda predictable. But worth the time to finish it. I did audible and the accents were nonexistent to horrendous 😂 but still with the read.

I will read anything set in Paris-I honeymooned there!
Bookworm Hannah Bond leads Jane Austin themed tours in Britain.Through a series of unexpected life events, she ends up in Paris, eventually running a literary themed tour there. This story of a tentative reconciliation with her mother, who was a teen when she gave birth to Hannah & abandoned her, is compelling. This is a multigenerational saga of of identity & family, bound by a Parisian apartment.
Next after Max, then a library book. From my #TBR shelves. #coffeeandbooks #porchlife
This was pure book candy, especially for those who love the Lost Generation era. What sold me was the blurb “If you‘re a fan of Midnight in Paris or Hemingway‘s A Moveable Feast you‘ll eat up this story”. So very true.
Hannah Bond has left her mother (Marla) and her life in Florida behind to pursue her love of books and all things literary by leading Jane Austen themed tours through the British countryside.
All is well until New Years when Marla shows up unexpectedly at Hannah's London flat sporting a black eye and an envelope containing old letters and a deed to a Paris apartment that she recently discovered.
