Elizabeth Bennet is stuck in a loop repeating the day of the Netherfield Ball. As she resets each morning she finds herself desperate to solve the problems of Mr. Bingley leaving, her family‘s embarrassing behavior & Collin's unwanted proposal. I loved her interactions with Darcy. They were definitely the best part & gave us a chance to see that relationship grow deeper. A quick fun read to start off the year celebrating Austen's 250th birthday!
So I really wanted to participate in the #200PnPcovers photo challenge with @CrowCAH and @mabell but I'm kind of terrible at photo challenges. Over the weekend I was halfheartedly shuffling through my bookshelves trying to think of books that would match the prompts when I was struck with inspiration. I have definitely read more than 31 P&P **variations** so what if I matched a variation with each prompt?? Some of been great, some of have been ⬇
P&P with a splash of Groundhog Day!! Elizabeth has to keep living the day of the Netherfield Ball over & over. I loved seeing her face some facts about her perspectives & some of her attempts to get out of the cycle were quite entertaining. Lighthearted & fun, I really enjoyed this one. Darcy doesn't live the same day, but we do get his perspective at the end - a little repetitive but still entertaining.
