This was good. Lots of intertwined stories that kept me guessing

Got a gift card to Barnes and Noble for my birthday! There was a buy one get one 50% off sale on select books (online), so I grabbed these two. 🤓 Nothing like buying new books when you have a stack from the library to read and even bigger stacks you‘ve bought and haven‘t even opened yet. 💁🏻♀️🤣
I feel like this has a lot of potential but the perspective changes in addition to the dual timelines made this one hard to follow. It also felt like there were a lot of themes in the novel. Some were well explored & others were kind of presented & then trailed off. ⭐⭐⭐
I finished this yesterday. Here is the link to my gr review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3836280085

Thrillers are the best and the worst to review, especially when you have them early, because you do t want to include any spoilers. So, what CAN I say? This one had me hooked from the very first page and whenever I had a spare moment, I picked it up. The writing is really assured and you wouldn‘t guess it‘s a debut. This book was blurbed by all sorts of big names and having read it, I see why. This one was very satisfying. Look for it 8/3/21.
This could have been a good book, but the abrupt time jumps and multiple points of view were too much for me. The big reveal just felt inevitable, given the rest of the book. This book was not terrible, but not great either.
