One of my favorites !
Very good story
This was good. Lots of intertwined stories that kept me guessing
I love Agatha Raisin, though this wasn‘t my favorite mystery. I didn‘t get the significance of the title.
Took a bit to get hooked, but really good! Suspenseful. Ending wasn‘t obvious.
Fate granted some people their wildest, greatest wishes while leaving the simplest pleas of others unanswered
“Life is a series of unlikely events, isn't it? Hers certainly is. One unlikely event after another, adding up to a rich, complicated whole. And who knows what's still to come?”
This is the thing about good and evil. They aren't so far apart - and they often start from the same valiant place of wanting something to be different
Wisdom is not bestowed. In its raw state, it is the heartbreak of knowing things you wish you didn't.
Ugly love becomes you. Consumes you. Makes you hate it all. Makes you realize that all the beautiful parts aren't even worth it. Without the beautiful, you'll never risk feeling the ugly. So you give it all up. You give it all up. You never want love again, no matter what kind it is, because no type of love will ever be worth living through the ugly love again.
Loved it. Couldn‘t wait to finish it, but didn‘t want it to end!
It took awhile to get into, but I liked it. If Dolly Parton hadn‘t been listed as an author, I wouldn‘t have bought it.
Loved it. Just like I have loved everything Blume has ever written.
It was good, but I wanted more from the ending.
