I am constantly impressed with my scholars and what they read. I have a front row seat window on their experiences with reading and how it changes them for the better. Teaching is hard…but the conversation about books and the way they light makes it all worthwhile.

Went deep into my TBR stacks trying to make progress before the end of the year & came across this book—I think I got it for my husband?!? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, it‘s about a school of sorcerers who protect the world from demons and three students who are just getting started. I enjoyed it, may even read more, but I‘m not sure why I thought my husband would…I must have seen a recommendation somewhere. Anyway, a quick fun read.

Totally sold on this series. New set of characters and I can see that this is going to be a rollercoaster kinda ride if this one volume is anything to go on.

Pretty cool and weird. The creatures looked neat and interested to see where the next volume goes as this left at a sorta cliff hanger 🙄

I binged this last month since my collection finally got completed (I waited 2 months for vol 4) and loved it. I haven't been this invested in a manga for a while, and it's been nice to finally have both the motivation and interest. Also watched the 0 movie when it came out and that was awesome.
Megumi is my fav.

I've read most of the manga now after rising the anime and I have to say it's one of my all time favourite series of all time. The characters are great, the magic system is super interesting and nothing has ever got me so invested in a fight then the hint of a domain expansion being on display. 100% the best of what shonan has to offer as a genre

A shonen manga with a balance of action, backstory, intrigue, and horror. Each character is a mix of unique abilities and quirky personalities. The curses are ruthless.
