This had been my night time listen, but I don‘t know if I can finish it. It‘s funny in places, but the amount of body shaming, body hatred, ageism, and abuse by friends and family in the name of weddings is just too much for me.

pickI blew through this amazing story in a few days because I couldn't put it down. It's voicey and hilarious, but also so full of heart. Lily is snarky and funny, and she fiercely loves her friends and family. I loved going on this journey with her through the ups and downs of being a bridesmaid in five weddings, dealing with bridezillas, mean girl bridesmaids, overbearing mothers, and a hilarious grandma. I need this to be a romcom right now!
pickI started reading the first 2 pages the day before yesterday. But I really started it yesterday and I couldn't put it down. It's so good. I loved Lily's cynicism when she was writing. And I loved how much she grew as a person at the end. I don't have even a single bad thing to say about this novel. ♥️

pickOmg, so hilarious and so cute! This was a great after the holiday read and I wish a studio or production company would option it right now cause this would make an amazing movie! I will say, without giving anything away, that the ending wasn‘t quite what I was expecting and in a totally good way. It made me think and hope that I‘ll be more mindful in the future.!
