I really enjoyed this historical fantasy, especially as it had plenty of wry humour.

#Sapkowski's beginning to a new #trilogy, to be put quite frankly, was rather dull.
Though it was well written, with era appropriate references and conversations with suggestions that humanity's history once contained magic and creatures. As well as other dimensions alongside hell.
The #friendship, the unbreakable bond between three men was refreshing to read, with one always falling into trouble. Unfortunately, the story didn't pull through.

Finished...finally finished The Tower of Fools
I really struggled getting through this, and then I started getting cluster headaches whenever I read a few pages, alas slowing my progress, looks like reading glasses is in my future.
However, now I can sleep happily whilst I reflect on my feelings towards this book.
Review will be up tomorrow! But how many ⭐ will I give it? Hmmm
"Friendship is a great and beautiful thing!" Scharley Pg.292
I'm really struggling to get through this book, but I'm a stubborn book dragon ? it's refreshing to read a book that focuses on the friendship of three men getting into trouble ?
I'm really struggling with this book, has anyone else read it? Is it worth venturing past chapter 9?
With only one course left for my certificate I‘m hoping to get back to reading for pleasure a bit more. I‘ve decided that this is the first read for 2021 and am loving it.
It‘s listed as Fantasy but definitely set in a real historical period.
