pickLoved it! Margot and Will decide to co-pawrent (Margot‘s word!) a cute, friendly rescue Staffy. It‘s a bit predictable, but still very enjoyable. In the second half of the book, it‘s revealed that both Will and Margot are wrestling with some serious issues, and I rooted for them both.

pickThis book was an impulse buy after another author mentioned it. I enjoyed it, especially the dog. (And I‘m a cat person!) This is one of those books where you know where the story will end (most likely) but it‘s enjoyable to go along. Both MCs have had difficult lives, which means some content warnings, but I think it‘s handled well. I would read more of this author.

This doggie themed contemporary tale did not disappoint. Margot & Will become co-pawrent for a rescue dog. Blossom (Staffordshire bull terrier) had a great role too! The story had heart, laughs and more. Both MC‘s have to face the demons of their past before looking forward to the future. The first half of the book was cute & light but the second half dealt with some darker issues. The perfect read for dog lovers 🐶🐾💕
