October hopefuls.
October hopefuls.
I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first one. I think it was because the storyline was already established, making this one flow smoothly. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Book no.9 for the year
Still in love with this family.
Volume two picks up right after the last and a lot is riding on poor little Anya's shoulders but Twilight and his organization might be asking for too much there 😂
Especially as Anya has to get close to the target's son, Damian, which might be easier said than done. The child is smarmy and Anya, who I think has little to no social cues, is trying her hardest but Anya is becoming a fave for me
Military latte (matcha + espresso), Camouflage old fashioned donut, and the second volume of Spy x Family made for a fantastic morning of reading.
Because I have watched the anime, I am going to skip to volume 7, but I still love these characters and storyline. I am just ready to see the newer stuff.
The fun continues in this volume. The made up family still doesn‘t know about each other‘s talents.
One more manga for the first day of the #letsgetgraphic #readathon
Book 2 of Spy x Family continues this hilarious and adorable adventures of a most unusual found family. A spy pretend father, an assassin pretend mother and a telepath adopted daughter make up quite the team. I look forward to more silly fun! 4.5⭐️
I enjoyed jumping back into this story with the Forger family. Anya has been admitted into the elite academy and now must try to make friends with the target's son. For a telepath, she doesn't have much social skills and hijinks ensue.

A delicate balance to maintain, with just the right proportion of fun, funny, overdramatic and genuinely intriguing, but Tatsuya Endo pulls it off again with flying colours. I love this series. 🤩
Better than volume 1. Enjoyable Manga. Dean is like “really?”I‘m on my heating pad and I don‘t wish to be disturbed with photos, especially at this late hour. Lol Sorry, Dean, you‘re just so darn cute!
To be fair my favorite character in this series so far is Anya the little girl in this fake family. She makes me laugh out loud for real. This is a fun lighthearted read. Perfect for when you‘re not feeling like something heavy or emotionally wrought.
Loid is one overworked spy in a sham marriage to an assassin after adopting a little girl with telepathic powers. Hijinks ensue as the odd couple attempt to give everyone the impression that they are a perfectly normal family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
So far I‘ve read two graphic novels off of my planned #NetGalleyReviewathon TBR, and reviewed 6 others. Not a bad start to the month!
