This wonderful SF-RA, picture book CeCe and her teacher, Ms. Curie assigning a science project. CeCe knows just what to ask- do dogs eat vegetables? She teams up with her best friend Issac and her dog, Einstein to discover the answer. They investigate, research, collect data and analyze using Einstein as their case study. A fun informative picture book.

Curious and inquisitive, Cece is a young girl who loves asking questions. This RF book by Kimberly Derting and Shelli R. Johannes tells the tale of Cece who loves to figure out the answer to why and how? When tasked with a project on zoology she asks a pressing question: do dogs eat vegetables? She uses the scientific method to find out! This book is great for IR.

dbears1 I love science.I like the fact the she asks "why", sometimes students are afraid to ask why and she isn't.I will definitely use this book as a RA. 4y
DrSpalding This could be an independent read but it could also be a read aloud to kick off a hands on science unit. Harrison‘s illustrations are so visually appealing! I am a fan of her work. Excellent book selection. 4y

ebrown ESOL strategy: 32. Use student pairs for team learning. UDL strategy 7.1, let students choose their partner reads on their own. 5y
DrSpalding Using HarperCollins as your resource is an excellent idea. Better job with your English learner and universal design principles here. 5y
