I actually liked this book. The story is written for middle grade- but as the characters in the story age i do wish the voice of the story aged also - so that is my main critique. In this one there are serious injuries that require healing. I think i would have liked more of the other characters in the story too- but i did enjoy the direction this book took.

Book 7 in the KOTLC series finished. Loving the series & the characters. Now that my daughter is at college, I might have to read the last three alone while she gets into a rhythm. I won‘t mind rereading them when she‘s ready.

Finally got the energy to pick up a book again

Continuing to make my way through this addictive series with my 4th grade daughter. Sophie and her friends now have half a dozen enemies, so it‘s a good thing she has just as many special elf abilities. Lots of Silveny the alicorn in this installment, which was very welcome. On Saturday I went to Idaho Book Fairs which is AMAZING!!! And I bought four books for $21! All the books are brand new and HALF-OFF!!!! It is heaven on Earth!!! They have a website as well as a warehouse!!! It is THE BEST!!!!

I got through 9 #TBRDeckofCards books. It was a combination of print, digital & audiobooks. My goal was 4 so I‘m quite happy with this.
