This book will greatly appeal to young readers who love animals and reading about them going on fun, silly adventures.

This is cute and short graphic novel that follows a kind-hearted owl, Owly, on his adventure to help a friend. The illustrations are beautifully drawn and it is a light storyline. It wonderfully displays themes of friendship and compassion!

This is a wonderful and cute story that is all about the power of being kind to others. There is a lot of irony in this story about an owl helping out a worm but it shows that just because someone may look scary they could have great intentions.

This book was enjoyable. It is about an owl who is always helping people, I feel like some student would be able to connect with this story. As well as takes you on the journey of him finding friends! I feel like younger students would really connect with this. I perfect way for students to get into reading more graphic novels.

The way Home by Andy Runton is a book that lets early readers let the pictures do the talking. This is good to allow students to use their imagination and creativity. The stories usually center around friendship, loyalty, and nature! (202)
