I mean this was okay and I don‘t regret reading it but it felt like a mishmash of pieces I‘ve already seen in other books.

Finally finished! I loved it for its uber-science-nerdishness, epic scope, and of course, Kira.

Q for you veteran bingo readers- is it cheating to put books on my list I‘ve already started reading??
This book was a beast. While I enjoyed the characters immensely, the pacing of this book was really off. It took me almost a month to finish!
"The path to our goal is rarely straight. It tends to turn and twist, which makes the journey far more enjoyable than it would otherwise be."
In the midst of trying out new platforms, I'm trying to figure out which book I want to read next. I can't decide betelween a Mystery/Thriller/Suspense or some good ol' SciFi ? What are your fave genres or what have you been in the mood for lately?

Great story and the character development was perfect. I loved that the MC was a strong female character. 4 ⭐ Read my full review on my blog at www.thespineview.com 💜📖💜📚💜
If you want an epic, sweeping sci-fi in a beautifully imagined world with large scale conflict, swashbucking-esque space pirates (including a space pig!) and mysterious aliens then I recommend this!
I had so much hope for this book. While I love first contact with Aliens stories, this book just didn‘t work for me.
My favorite character was the ship‘s mind “ Gregorovitch”. He was very entertaining.
I had this book on kindle and audio . The audio narrator, Jennifer Hale, was great and she‘s the only reason I was able to finish the boon

Well that was super dense. Really enjoyed it and think it‘s going to be the book I get my dad for Christmas this year.
Oh happy day! Starting the tagged, new puzzles arrived, and got the shipping notification for some books I just ordered. Happy happy happy!!! Today, my cup runneth over. 🧩 📚 💗
#110 of my year. I‘m only going to read a few chapters lol I swear! I have been reading all day I know, but I‘m not ready to join reality again just yet hehe Also I‘m listening to The Sun (feat. Bryson Tiller & Raphael Saadiq) by KYLE this song makes me want to go on a long drive and just blast music with him 🥰
I‘m about 200 pages into this and I think I‘m going to DNF for now. I‘m having a hard time connecting with the main character and this is just too long a book for that. It‘s a shame, because I was so excited to read it.

This program includes an afterword read by Christopher Paolini, as well as a bonus conversation between Christopher Paolini and Jennifer Hale.
To Sleep in a Sea of Stars is a brand-new epic novel from New York Times best-selling author Christopher Paolini.
This book started with a bang and kept going full speed. Wow. Too long for me but still very interesting. Certain parts dragged on, that irritates me I like a continuous flow of change, not the same blow over and over. I don't want to give away too much, so it's hard to get detailed. The scientific stuff and the end I really didn't think was necessary. But overall great story and writing.
