Finished on my flight.... light pick as my favorite parts were her talking about the food and not the relationship which took over the book.

Happy Thanksgiving.... airport style 😊😂
Finished this book for my virtual foodie book club & really enjoyed it. A memoir about a woman who travels to Iran to learn the traditions of cooking Persian food & falls in love. The food was the highlight of the story as is the Whole Roasted Cauliflower with Warm Harissa Hummus I paired with it. I don‘t think the pic does it justice but if your holidays include vegan & gluten free foods, this is an easy & delicious dish.😋Review/recipe link👇🏻
Smallish #libraryhaul today. I picked up two holds (the tagged book is the current selection for my virtual foodie book club) & the two books on the right were both on my #TBR & cost me $1 at the library bookstore. 📚& 🐔🧡
Wow imagine the desire and passion when two people want to be together but even being seen together unwed could put them in jail. This book is intense! (60%)
This book is making me SO HUNGRY (picture stolen from internet)
Thanks to @JenP for this memoir. It arrived today and its timing is perfect. I'm almost done with A History of Love. #CupidGoesPostal #ValentinesBookExchange
My top 4 non-fiction reads of 2016. I loved the Iranian travel and foodie theme of THE TEMPORARY BRIDE. So good! THE TIME IN BETWEEN was another amazing memoir about a young woman's battle with anorexia beginning in her preteens. Powerful! I also loved AN ABBREVIATED LIFE, which was so bizarre you'd think it was fiction. YOU'LL GROW OUT OF IT was a wonderful audiobook. Jessie made me laugh so hard! #nonfictionreads #topreadsof2016
Chose to read this as part of the Read Harder Challenge 2016. I know it explicitly states that it's a memoir about food AND love but I just wanted to keep reading about all the delicious food and kept rushing the love chapters.
