JuliaTheBookNerd @CoverToCoverGirl I read and loved the guys from the original black dagger brotherhood series 😊 I haven‘t read this prison camp spin off… wondering if it‘s as good as the original 🤔 1y

I‘ve read several other BDB books for the original series and loved them. This one didn‘t hold up. I didn‘t like the characters and found my mind wandering while I was reading. ⭐️⭐️

It's an extremely windy Sunday. There is a line of thunderstorms that is supposed to come through late this afternoon also. So my plan is to get Peri's walk in before the storms and then cozy down and start J.R. Ward's latest crazysause Black Dagger book.

#BookHaul I went to Walmart for a few things and just couldn't go past the books without looking. Which means buying!🙄 This makes four books this week! And I wonder why my TBR pile keeps growing! 😂

Overall a good read! Loved the characters and the storyline! I wish there was more between The Jackal and Rhage (as that seemed to be a huge thing on the internet), and it just seemed to be thrown in at the end. I was also thinking it was very close to Prisoner of Night but this was a better read! I hope we see more of these characters!

I have been in such a mood lately because of work that I decided it was time to find something that was guaranteed to lift the dark cloud that has been lingering over my head. These books never fail to put a smile on my face. They make me laugh, they make me cry, and ultimately they make my heart happy.

So good. The Warden just takes these characters to another level every time.
