Jen Turano is known for her amusing, cleverly written, laugh-out-loud historical rom-coms and this book had me in stitches from the opening chapter. Beatrix and Norman, two complete opposites in life and outlook, have their lives colliding again and again as they outrun vicious criminals and society ladies to find purpose and fulfillment in life. The secondary characters are also delightful and make the story a winner.

cmastfalk I should bump Jen Turano up on my to-read pile. 5y

This story was so delightful! It had me laughing out-loud so many times. Beatrix and Theo were a great pair. I loved the way their friendship developed throughout the story. Norman‘s absentmindedness was adorable. I think this is my favorite so far!

I received this book from the author for my honest review.
