I am enjoying this series (this is second of three) - it does have what I would now call the stereotypical mc - young, angry woman who doesn't want anyone to know she is vulnerable - (see spoiler below for rest of this thought)
It is Hunger Games, Jurassic Park and a dash of 1984 themes - good young adult series.
#workingfortheweekendmarathon 4 hours read Monday - plan to get 12 hours read by end of Thursday - the work week will not win 🙂

Finished one book club book (will actually be able to participate this month in #litsybookclub)-
Finished Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix
Still need to finish the last two book club books - #ThatsClassic @Annie1215 (Jane Eyre) and on the ground library book club (which is virtual right now) (We Came Here to Shine)-

I really enjoyed this book. An easy read which left me wanted to read the 3rd book in the series

Currently Reading: The Extinction Trails; Exile by SM Wilson

Onto book 2 of the series. Loving it so far. Didn't think I'd read the first one so quick. Here we go
