I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book! I love how the main character stayed strong after everything she went through.🧡

Trigger warning: this book talks about sexual assault.

Dear Ava is a controversial book. The book opens after some pages with the heroine waking up after being drugged and abused at a keg party. And even though there's no description of the abuse it is tense enough to read about it. I gotta say I was sucked in from the very beginning.

The writing, pacing , the description of things, all of the emotions... wow. I loved the strong heroine... damn she got some balls!

It‘s been awhile since I‘ve read a romance I really enjoyed. This was the perfect mixture of angst (I can‘t handle too much angst) and sweet romance. The story does deal with rape.
