Easy and nostalgic. Firefly is always a safe go-too 😊

At the end of #20in4 I finished Interview With the Vampire and Untamed Shore. Tagged book in progress at chapter nineteen. I hope to not be such a slacker on litsy as things went in 2021 and be more involved regularly. See you all at the next readathon! 📚

This is my favorite of the Firefly novels so far, it is fast paced and intense. It gives you a lot of River time, going into her mind and seeing her own frustration with her own shortcomings. It was amazing!

🎧 I had to go back to the beginning when I was an hour into this book. I was like, did I miss something?
The crew is running on empty & in desperation takes a questionable job. A box that River ominously says should be spaced immediately.

Eventually everyone but River seem to be in a dream-like state that has them living their fantasy lives. Imagine that. What could go wrong.

River must figure out how to wake them before it‘s too late. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Firefly remains one of my all-time favorite TV series despite it being cancelled in the middle of season 1. The recent series of tie-in novels been such fun to read through and feel like stepping into another season of the show. I've been sneakily reading the books before giving them to my hubby who is also a big Firefly fan! Books 3 & 4 came out this year, and I'm keeping with tradition. Safe to post now that he's opened them. 😉🎄

This was a terrific Firefly tie-in. Possibly my favorite of the three I've read. It started off a little slow, but it picked up and finished with a bang.

Bk2 of my #JuneBookHaul is the third in the Firefly series of novels. I‘m a Firefly tragic, I can recite full pieces of dialogue from both the tv series & the movie (“I am a leaf on the wind”) and was totally gutted when it was cancelled, especially when you consider a lot of the crap being forced on us by the networks😠. So imagine my delight to find these books! Now I just need my orange beanie & a few grenades so I can get in the mood😂
