One of my latest reads is Shattered Girls by Tyrolin Puxty and I really loved it. It is the sequel to Broken Dolls, following the two main characters Ella and Gabby in a semi fantastic universe where people are mysteriously disappearing only to reappear as dolls... I really loved Ella's character development and I think I liked this one even better than the first book actually! Full review on my blog very soon! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I NEVER bail on books, but I just couldn't go on with this one. It wasn't listed as a YA book on Netgalley and I didn't realize that it was the 2nd in a series. Just not for me. Beautiful cover, though. Are we allowed to bail on Netgalley books, I don't even know?

NerdyRev Anyone can bail, but for me personally, I see it as the publisher gave it to me to review so why not honor the work even if it is a 1 star book. I've skimmed, but always finished if it was a galley. If I purchased it, it is a different story. 8y

KrisConstantReader @ulejo @Stephanie-Anne I love the cover. And don't go by me--this book has a ton of great reviews on Goodreads. Maybe I'm just not a YA person. And not having read the first book didn't help. I'd say maybe give it a try if you do like YA. I only read around 30%, maybe it gets better. 8y

Mamashep You can bail on Netgalley but I'd still post a review to that effect. If you just don't post anything on too many books, then publishers might stop approving you. 8y

KrisConstantReader @Mamashep yeah, I posted feedback already. I just joined Netgalley a few weeks ago, I'm so behind but I'm determined to read and review all of them. I think I've already read 21, around 16 to go. 8y
