Some people find Hickman esoteric but I love him. House of X / Powers of X is a totally fresh take on the X-Men that brings former enemies together as allies.
pickA much needed rejuvenation of the X-men property. After the fantastic Time Runs Out and Secret Wars, Hickman starts hot with House of X/Power of X, so much so that you won't believe it's just a prequel of what's to come.
My first comic books in a number of years, my last being around the previously mentioned Hickman run- thankfully, despite the complexity of the storyline, this is one for readers old and new to establish the coming status-quo.
so-soThe art is beautiful in this series. I liked it but it was also overt confusing, which is saying a lot. I‘m interested in where it goes next but there were times when I was lost. There is a lot of long explaining happening
