This story was lovely and a holiday tradition I have never heard before. The lady of Befana is an italian christmas story. It takes place in January (due to different calendars), where she is in the sky looking for the Christ child. It was a wonderful story from a different tradition that should be shared far and wide.

The art is different to what I'm used to but its definitely dePaola's trade mark. The book follows the story I read in the other nonfiction book so it works as an illustration of a classic tale. If you haven't read the story of Old Befana, this book is a nice way to learn about it 😊 #tmskellington #wintergames #holidayread
