Love this series! Spent my snow day napping and reading...perfecto!

It has been six years since the author‘s last book in this series, and it‘s been almost that long since I read it. Consequently, I had a little trouble getting into this, just because I couldn‘t remember everything that had happened in the previous books. Also, this follows 3 timelines, which sometimes is confusing. But overall it‘s excellent, great to be back with these characters. There‘s a cliffhanger, so there‘s another book coming. 👇

I found this on Cloud Library and didn‘t even need to put a hold on it. So it‘s #nextup.

Sort. One of the many reasons I love these characters: subtle humor.

It‘s heeeerrrreeee! SO excited to reunite with Clare and Russ! Don‘t think I‘m going to get a lot read until the morning, but yay, it‘s here!

And on to my next read...

I was very happy to return to the lives of Clare and Russ. They are well-developed flawed characters and this plot kept the pages turning until the surprise ending. Series should be read in order although this one works as a standalone too. Cliffhanger ending makes me look forward to the next book. Highly recommend to mystery readers.
