I‘m picky about 5-star ratings & never thought I‘d give it to a MG book, but that‘s snobby of me. This was wonderfully crafted, ingeniously designed, & utterly joyful, totally deserves 5 stars. Loved it even more than the 1st book. We get deeper into the amazing world Anna James created with a new & terrific plot. Loved the relationships, the conflicts & reveals, the tenseness & humor, the design. It‘s all fantastic. Def a fave of the year! 5/5 ⭐️

Hard to get a good picture because it‘s not a floppy paperback but I absolutely love the design of this book and how they did the illustrations. A lot of them are like this, where the pictures are like......interacting with the text?? Not sure how else to phrase it, but it‘s so neat.

Figured a magical middle grade book would be the perfect thing to start reading today! 🪄🎄 #NowReading

This is the second book about Tilly and her best friend Oskar. The story picks up after the end of book one, and we learn about the consequences of what happened in book one. Tilly and Oskar also learns that it‘s possible to bookwander in fairy tales, but that it‘s more dangerous than bookwandering in novels. So off course they do it, and learns that fairy tales are disappearing.

I‘ve already ordered the third book.
