I love Toni Morrison's writing. The first book I ever read was The Bluest Eye in junior high, and it really got to me.
This tagged book explores Morrison as a group memoir by 4 friends. It starts with the first writer sharing her experiences with motherhood as a black woman, and looking at the depiction of motherhood in Morrison's novel Beloved.
It's interesting to read a variety of personal experiences with literature
