I‘m thankful for sunshine! Even though it chased me away from my desk for a while this afternoon. I‘m also thankful for an open window and a nice breeze.

Seattle—or Chicago. 4. Sloth—gorillas are primates, primates creep me out 5. 85 and sun baby! @jesshowbooks

LOVE IT!!
Wanted to share.
I loved this book! I have enjoyed the other #wendywax books in this series but this one is my favorite so far. I am anxious to read the latest installment in the series One Good Thing. Amy Rubinate is an excellent narrator!
Too many characters and too much backstory. Now we have a toddler referring to himself in the first person and baby talk. "Mommy tolded me I could stay up til you gots here" - ugh, I'm out. I was prepared for light and fluffy but this is not for me.
I'm 27 pages in and the author has already crammed in too many characters and too much backstory. I'm giving this to page 50 to sort itself out into something.
Going full-on beach read today. If only I could go to the real beach without bursting into flames 😎
