Finished Dreamland yesterday for #Roll100. It was pretty easy to guess whodunit and I felt the characters lacked depth so just a so-so for me. On the positive side it‘s another book off my kindle TBR.
#Roll100 - #Kindle: 24 - Dreamland 49 - Open Mic Night in Moscow I am excited about both of these books.

This was way different than what I expected. But it was quite awesome in its own right.

I loved Dreamland! It‘s a fabulous read. I enjoyed the setting and era, the descriptions are very vivid. It‘s beautifully written with just the right amount of suspense. I read this book via the #Pigeonhole app and I was always eager to begin each stave. I definitely found it a page turner. An entertaining and magical historical murder mystery with some fascinating characters and an intriguing plot which I can highly recommend.
Starting this #NetGalley read with my Christmas tree and quilt. This is the first book in my new challenge to read the top literary fiction books of 2020!

I decided to take a little break from my nonfiction reads and spent my snowy day with this enticing ARC from #netgalley 💗 I loved this story set mostly in 1911's Coney Island and I loved the main character Peggy! It took some time with character development and setting up the story so it isn't an on the edge of your seat mystery/thriller but I totally felt wrapped up in the story. Pub. Date January 16, 2020
