If you enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse novels, you may like the Cassandra Palmer series. There are 10 books in this series. Cassie is a clairvoyant living in Vegas hiding from the mafia vampire boss who raised her. Cassie gets on my nerves a little-I just want to slap her sometimes because she‘s so impulsive and the pacing is too fast sometimes but an overall pick for me..however, I liked Sookie much more. 😊

I just read this book, it was recommended by a friend. It took me awhile to get into it, but now I can't wait to read the next in the series.

This was interesting and, even as the beginning of a series, all over the place. Full of info dumps disguised as dialogue too. Even though I'll go on reading this series.

This is one of my very favorite book series, the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance. If you like urban fantasy, you'll love it!

#17booklove Day 18: Guilty Love ❤️ I stopped reading the Anita Blake series because the books became 90% having sex with wereleopards and the mysteries never got solved and I was not having that. I tried a few other urban fantasy series but they didn't click until I found the Cassie Palmer series.

ElaineHowlin I love Cassie 😍 I jumped the Anita ship too. Its a pity cause the books were really good at the start. 7y
